Alison offers a comprehensive range of training
courses at The Sherborne Clinic. Courses include the Basic Micropigmentation Course for the student wishing to embark on a
career in Permanent Make-Up to Advanced Paramedical Courses for Permanent Make-Up technicians wishing to enhance their portfolio
of skills.
Basic Micropigmentation Course:
This course lasts for a total of 8 days spread over three weeks (4 days in week 1, then 2 days each weeks 2 &
3). The practical side of the course is preceded by a period of home study. The course includes carrying out the main
Permanent Make-Up treatments on both practice materials and live models, with one procedure being taught each week. Also
included in the course is advice on setting up in business, insurance responsibilities and marketing.
A student Business
Start-up kit is available and includes a state-of-the-art digital machine, a selection of needles, pigments etc, in fact everything
needed to set up in business having qualified.
A certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course.
Advanced Courses:
These are only available to existing
technicians that have carried out in excess of one hundred Permanent Make-Up procedures. Courses vary in duration from a half
day to a two day course, dependent on the course chosen.

Restoration: Scar Camouflage: Vitiligo: Alopecia: Scalp Camouflage: Pigment Correction &
Removal (Tattoo Removal):
Certficates are awarded on successful completion of each course.
Training 'Taster Days':
The Training 'Taster
Days' are available at The Sherborne Clinic and offer an insight into micropigmentation for people considering a career
in the profession.
The student will have the opportunity to spend a day with Alison at her clinic whilst she carries
out procedures, and also includes an individual practical session, where the student will get to use a micropigmentation
machine and pigments on practice materials.
This is an excellent way tofind out first hand whether or not a career in
micropigmentation will be a good move before having to invest in the full training course.
A
fee for the 'Taster Day' is payable, however the fee will be deducted from the Basic Micropigmentation Course charges
should the student decide to go ahead and be trained by Alison at The Sherborne Clinic.
